Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of cognivainstitute.org, the Cogniva reasoning test and anything you buy from us. The short version: the test is free, paid items are single payments at the price shown, and you can get a refund within 14 days without giving a reason.
1. Who we are
Cogniva is operated by Luis Junior, an individual based in Brazil. You can reach us at support@cognivainstitute.org. "Cogniva" and "Cogniva Institute" are brands of Luis Junior.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cogniva.
3. What the test is
Your estimated IQ range places you on this test's own scale. It is not a comparison with the general population.
This is not a clinical or medical test.
Don't use this result for hiring, admissions, or any other decision about a person.
Results are estimates for personal insight and practice.
4. Free and paid parts
The test and your score band are free. The full report and the other paid products are listed with their prices at cognivainstitute.org/pricing.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax that applies. Each purchase is a single payment that you approve at the price shown. We never charge you on a recurring basis.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your statement as COGNIVA* INSTITUTE.ORG.
6. Post-purchase offers
After you pay, we may show up to two offers, and each needs a click to accept with its price visible. The 28-Day Reasoning Coach is available for up to 60 minutes after your payment. If you decline it, the 28-Day Reasoning Plan is available for up to 30 minutes after you decline. We use your saved payment method only when you click to accept. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment.
7. Refunds
You can get a full refund of any purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason, as described in our refund policy at cognivainstitute.org/refund-policy.
8. Delivery and access
Your report is delivered in your browser and by email. You can come back to it from your account by signing in with a code or link we email you. We deliver your report within 90 seconds of the start of its generation; if the AI step doesn't finish in time, you get a structured report written from the same results.
9. AI-generated content
The text of your report and the tutor's answers are written by an AI model from results calculated by code. They may contain mistakes and are not professional advice.
10. Acceptable use
You may not copy or publish the test questions, automate answers, resell reports, reverse engineer the service, or use another person's account.
11. Intellectual property
The questions, figures, texts and brand belong to Luis Junior. You may keep and share your own report for personal use.
12. Sharing links
When you create a share link, you choose what it makes public. You can turn the link off from your account.
13. Emails
Service emails, such as your result, receipts and access links, go to everyone who uses the service. Follow-up emails about your result are sent in the US with the notice shown when you enter your email, and in other countries only if you tick the box. The newsletter and offers for other products need a ticked box. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Nothing in them takes away the protections the consumer law of the place where you live gives you. These terms contain no mandatory arbitration clause, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. We show the date of the last update at the top of this page, and we email buyers about material changes 14 days before they take effect.
